Bloomsburg Falls in Field Hockey on Tuesday
INDIANA, PA — The Bloomsburg University field hockey team lost to Indiana (PA) on Tuesday by a 2-1 score.
The Indians jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the game with a first half goal from Amanda O'Brian at the nine minute mark and a second half goal from Liz Marosky with 12 minutes to play.
The Huskies continued to pressure throughout and finally scored with 36 seconds to play when Jamie Vanartsdalen (Philadelphia/Lower Moreland) connected on an assist from Maribeth Brozena (Larksville/Wyoming Valley West).
Bloomsburg falls to 15-3, 10-3 in the PSAC, while IUP improves to 13-5, 8-5 in the PSAC. The Huskies host Mansfield on Saturday.
